Patients with previous brain hemorrhages and diagnosed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medpagetoday.com\/Cardiology\/Arrhythmias\/\" target=\"_blank\">atrial fibrillation<\/a> reduced their risk of subsequent strokes after undergoing left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO), researchers reported here.<\/p>\n<p>Compared with historical risks, patients had a 75% reduction of stroke or transient ischemic attacks and a &#8220;remarkably low&#8221;
